Dear RedBalloon Community,
I hope you all had a terrific week! This week, we’ve seen our numbers soar like a - red balloon! We have breezed past 450 employers and 2,500 job seekers and the numbers keep going up every day.
The next hip trend….
This fast-paced growth is exciting AND encouraging. It means that there are a LOT of people who want to see freedom in the workplace - employers, employees, and even consumers! We have had folks ask us to point them toward freedom-oriented companies that they can turn to for products and services. Americans want to support freedom. Go figure!
New adventures in the RedBalloon Community
I have talked to a lot of people in the RedBalloon community who are thinking about starting their own business, or growing a current side business. They want to be able to either leave their job and follow their ambitions, or have a safety net when they get fired for not following the current zeitgeist.
I can’t tell you how excited that makes me! Why? Because of the massive potential for blessings! If you have the gifts and abilities to be a business owner, I encourage you to think BIG - you have the potential not only to support your own family and realize your own dreams, but to help others do the same through their jobs at your company.
The healthier your free-speech business is, the more customers you will be able to serve, and the more employees you will be able to bless with good, meaningful work in a free-speech environment. From the hundreds of notes I’ve received at RedBalloon, I can tell you, there are a lot of people who desperately want that.
Be inspired. Be ambitious. Be a blessing.
My challenge to you is to think of your business as a tool for blessing others, and see how well and how many people you can bless. You might be thinking that’s going to be a lot of work, and yes, it will be. There might be late nights, tough decisions, and more than a few headaches thrown in. Just remember that ambitions come with hard work - but they’re so rewarding!
I want to leave you with this thought: there’s so much good work to do, and so many good employees out there to help you do it. If we cultivate freedom in our country’s work culture, we will see companies that have the freedom to grow! So what are you waiting for? Let’s get to work!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Andrew Crapuchettes
